Studying fashion print, my designer identity is formed for my love of fine-art and multidisciplinary research methods. I have built up skills in hand-rendered screen-printing processes, focusing on creating unique, slow process textiles that are made to be sentimental, as oppose to the fast throwaway practices we see in fashion today. I hold an abstract style, influenced by many artists such as Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, and many more. Their influence informs my ideas that fashion and textiles should be viewed as wearable art, reconnecting consumers with the craft.
