About me

Whilst growing up I found taking pictures with my first compact camera gave me freedom and the ability to express myself through capturing moments in time. My parents nurtured this passion and bought me my first DSLR camera which enabled me to flurish and expand my skills. I continued to teach myself over the next four years, whilst at school, furthering my enthusiasm and streamlining a direction towards cinematography. I began to see a possible career direction evolve within film, particularly in the camera and lighting departments, whilst studying Film Practice at the University of the Arts London, graduating with a specialism in cinematography. Working on a number of short films including the award-winning ‘Day Street’ with small crews, I also furthered my knowledge by volunteering at a rental house based in Shoreditch. Confident in operating the Sony FS7 and a range of lighting equipment, I want to become a camera operator working on a variety of TV series and commercials. Currently working as a part-time Swimming Instructor, I am DBS cleared and holder of a first aid and rescue award (NRASTC). I am available for work as a camera assistant but am also looking at camera trainee jobs to build upon my on-set skills.
