Chyna is a Knitwear and Textile Graphic designer from London with a BA Hons Degree in Fashion Textile Knitwear. . Her design influences are drawn from her mixed heritage culture, Indian, Jamaican and her home in the UK. She is also inspired by African culture and American culture and as a result as a wide array of appeal. Her work focuses on creating unique stories around identity with the use of bold colour captivating abstract facial expressions, symbols and patterns with strong line and the infusing of knitwear as a medium to draw viewers in order to evoke curiosity and starts a conversation around changing the narrative of decorative imagery.
