Čauky mňauky! As a graphic designer, art director and researcher, I care about creating transformative spaces. I use design as a critical tool to provoke, encourage and rethink. As a former costume designer, I think visual communication should be challenged from its traditional canvases. Design should intentionally comment, question and challenge on a participatory level. I work on commissioned and self–initiated projects in printed and digital matter such as concept development, visual identity and art direction This year I co-founded a design studio — studio basic — focusing on graphic design, art direction and publishing. Our focus is the creative and conceptual development and/or design of visual identities for exhibitions and festivals, websites, publication and mixtapes. We’re based in London.
