"My practice is an allegory that creates a paradoxical mythology between humans and animals in the Baroque form. It is expressed through distortion, discontinuity and movement. The paradox of various myths, history, and concepts is reinterpreted to create new images or concepts, connecting the past and present. It provides us with a new way of recognizing the world because it allows us to reconsider myths or history that we have taken for granted" / K Blick is originally from South Korea, she has recently completed her MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and is based in London Her works have been exhibited internationally at the Florence Biennale and the Tate modern. K has completed artist residencies at a 170-year-old tile factory in Sintra, Portugal, and Casa Dell’ Arts in Bodrum, Turkey, after which her work was included for their private collection.
