Livi Sidabraite is a Lithuanian-born, London-based multi-disciplinary artist. Having have moved to UK at an early age, she had gallery internships in London, New York and Tokyo during the placement year of her studies, helping her to craft an informed environmental art practice, especially through the ongoing investigation of nature worship in Pagan cultures in relation to Japan’s Shintoism. Livi aims to use her art to advocate for conserving nature and questioning the value systems in our contemporary world, which can have very direct effects on our environment. One of the ways she addresses the issues is through making upcycled art: giving materials another life.
