Oliver undertook his Postgraduate studies at UAL London College of Fashion "MA Costume Design For Performance" completing it in December 2018. He completed "BA Fashion Studies" in September 2016 and immediately went into a commercial design position, gaining 7 months of industry experience in men's apparel in his gap year before undertaking his postgrad studies.
He has over 10 year's worth of sewing experience in pattern construction and manufacture. With experience working in the commercial fashion industry for men and womenswear, working in collaboration with Marks and Spencers and Soul Star.
Additional he has worked on theatre and film productions such as channel 4 random acts short film "Mougue" as head costume designer and most recently the opera story "goldilocks and the three pig’s opera" and “Orpheus and Eurydice” as costume maker. As well as working on my final MA project based on Stephen Kings book “Thinner” that was produced and performed at Sadlers Wells.
Oliver is embedded with a strong work ethic and enjoy collaborating with others in different fields to create a strong final outcome. With over 6 years worth of developed professional skills within the Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator communicating them effectively through his design concepts. He also can Work independently to tight deadlines, endeavoring to challenge himself further because it helps develop his professional skills.
