Drawing from her own personal experiences and Northern English upbringing, her work explores the deep politics of identity through the use of irony, appropriation and subcultural styles.Her work, though playful and humorous at times, always aims to commentate on the contemporary cultural and political landscape. Agency through Individuality, Resistance through Ritual.
