An Orchestra of rhythm and harmony is constantly filtering through all matter in our universe. It is important to realise that our intentions and actions have ripples way beyond our immediate surroundings. We are part of a universal pulse that needs our attention and awareness, as conscious beings, to maintain its rhythm. My practice has been shaped by this notion for the past 3 years; focusing on sound as a higher force that connects us all to the universe. The Earth behaves like a gigantic electric circuit. When we listen to space, we are listening to ourselves; to our state within and throughout space. What we distinguish as other and self, there and here, then and now, are all movements, like waves moving through an ocean. Sound, in its essence, is the means of carrying vibrations through the Earth and its atmosphere. Everything, including mind and body, is in a constant state of vibration. Sound is a vibration that resonates with the soul and can be felt in every cell of our body. I am currently working with sound in the context of environmental and social art. My work is focused on the frequencies and vibrations produced by the natural world. I have been creating works that capture the essence of the elements and utilising various techniques that amplify them in order to provoke a deeper listening experience. My multi-disciplinary practice includes installations, sculpture, video, performance works, field recordings and group workshops.
