MA Performance: Design and Practice
Anju Kasturiraj is a queer South Indian - American video artist and performance director based in London. She engages with her multimedia practice as vessels for practicing ancestral veneration and dissecting her own geopolitical relationship to the abject, the ether, and the other. She descends from a line of farmers, earth workers, and agriculturalists, and her work explores her genealogical relationship to soil. Anju currently works for Royal Museums Greenwich, where she creates online programming for Black & South Asian diaspora communities.
