Alice May is a London-based fashion writer and stylist with experience in freelance working. Alongside achieving a First Class Honours BA Fashion Journalism degree at London College of Fashion, she has already gained valuable experience interning in the fashion departments of Grazia and The Sunday Times Style. Able to write in a plethora of voices and appeal to audience needs, Alice has key interests in: fashion history, feminism, Northern heritage, emerging designers, sex topics, millennial culture and the future of fashion. As of Summer 2019, Alice has been published as a fashion assistant for TANK Magazine and produced regular written content for its sister website, Because. Her writing achieved a diploma from New York Parsons School of Design in 2017, and now she regularly contributes for the award-winning digital platform _Shift London. This knowledge led onto her assistant role for numerous stylists – working on both commercial and editorial projects while still at university. As well as working backstage at London Fashion Week shows, she has recently been scouted for London School of Styling.
