Aiu Yamazaki-Kitayama has investigated the auditorium as different views associated with philosophical ideas, the urban landscape of collective memory, and dim light in darkness as traditional beauty and hope. She researches the influence and difference of aesthetics between the West and Japan from Bauhaus, St. Ives, associated with Modernism to contemporary British abstract. Her works were selected for the Royal Scottish Academy Annual and Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in 2020.
