Emma Lillingston is a British artist who currently lives and works in Essex. She has recently graduated from the University of the Arts in London, where she received a degree in Fine Art, Sculpture. Known for her sculptures which are primarily made from paper and other easily resourced materials. Her works are constructed within the realms geometry and paper folding. Influenced by the work of Olafur Eliasson, Lillingston’s sculptures explore the relationship between pattern and shadows, furthermore, the emotional responses both art making and viewing can provoke.
