BA (Hons) Textile Design
My key focus is to explore surface pattern design where I can manipulate the environment to become more optimistic and joyful. Utilising both digital and screen-printing, mixed with an enthusiasm for drawing, I explore form, texture and colour through a variety of abstract prints. Photography is often a starting point in helping me navigate my interest in the natural environment and architecture, focusing upon the negative spaces that would normally go unnoticed. Themes of reflection, growth, distortion, layers and movement have become increasingly central in my practise, whilst translating my designs through interiors and experiential design.
