Before MAMF I studied Painting at Venice Academy of Fine Arts. Over the last years I worked with different materials and techniques, among others: Embroidering and Paper-Modeling. My research is based on reflections about what people usually consider familiar and banal. With my work I investigate what we generally see every day and often we don’t notice. At the base of my modus operandi there is certainly the statement expressed by the title of the book written by Arthur C. Danto: “The Transfiguration of the Commonplace”.
