Below is a visualisation of a piece I begun working on prior to the Covid-19 lockdown and so have yet to physically complete. As explored in my essay Beyond the Rural Idyll, the exchange between the non-metropolitan and mass culture is often in the form of commercial goods. The work below harnesses this and takes advantage of existing rural selling aesthetics. Through interaction the work exists both in the gallery space and beyond it.
