The Robe à la Française is a classic 18th century gown that is defined by the draped Watteau pleats in the back, ending in an elegant train. This dress is made out of silk taffeta and was draped directly on the body to fit immaculately. A bit part of is was sewn by hand, including all trimming and bows.
