Design Sketches
Due to the limited timescale the final idea had to be created within a few hours and the final design was an ongoing process. This is the initial design that was created based on the clients taste and ideas.
The Back Boards
Constructed from foam board and wrapped in paper, the back boards are lightweight and easy to assemble. They have a foldable back panel that allows them to be flat-packed and slotted into the bases when they need to be free standing

The Finished background
The layout of the background was completed first so we would then know how to best arrange the stand for the make up brushes.
Stand Layout Planning
This is an example of one of the layouts we rejected. We felt due to the backdrop the brushes needed more height and attention on the table.
Final Stand layout
We decided to use this formation of boxes to display the brushes. The height complimented the backdrop and the shape allowed us to add a fish motif that the client asked for.

Before all of the components were glued together we did a final layout check and sent it to the client for any final feedback.

Final Table Display
This is the finished table display on the clients table. The back boards are able to be flat packed for easy transportation and everything is very lightweight so the client can carry everything herself. The assembly time for the whole display is under 5 mins and there is enough space for the client to do a demonstration.
