Named after the Roman goddess of dawn, the word Aurora means the start of new beginnings. A collaborative project with bridal headdress and accessories designer and maker Snow Jewels.
The brief required the creation of a wearable bodice that captures the aesthetic of Snow Jewels' work and incorporates various components handmade by Snow Jewels.
The final garment is a heavily embellished invisible tulle body with pre-moulded nude cups and an opening gusset. A satin hook and eye runs down the back of the entire garment for ease of removal. The entire body is embellished with a layer of applique motifs and then worked into with a variety of hand-dyed silk satin flowers and wire and crystals vines which extend effortlessly over the body.
