Character: The Witch
The mood of the story sets in 1950’s timeline, in the suburban London. The story is based on the greediness that exists in all of us. The witch is a greedy women, she is in baker’s disguise but actually is a monster made of candies and chocolate. she craves for children to cook them to make candies and eat them. As she captures Hansel and Gretel and try’s to kill them they kill her by throwing her into the oven so she melts downs like a candy gum screaming. Each stage of the transformation, of the character is depicted thoroughly through the costume.
