An ongoing project presenting ‘what we are made of’ : the products my household consumed during the lockdown period of the pandemic, presenting what we saw as essential, alongside our habits during our “last moments”. Through isolation I was confronted with questions of impermanence and legacy. What about us will be remembered? Imagining the planet if most of us were to perish, how would we be perceived by future survivors? The idea behind the photo series is creating a representation of our life during this time. The sculptures will be posed together and separately in various scenarios around the house. Once the photos will be taken, I will disassemble the sculptures and discard of materials appropriately.
