Covid19 is an infectious disease caused by the destruction of the ecological environment by humans. It has a huge impact on human society. Wearing masks and keeping a safe distance have become the current New Normal. I can't help thinking, if people continue to disrupt the ecological balance, what will happen in the future? What will be the new normal in the future? According to research, global warming caused by ecological destruction will cause huge changes in the earth's environment, especially the rise of sea levels. In my work of art, I used fabrics to show the contrast of the process of the ocean submerging the land until the land disappears. The ocean part is blue, and the land part is light pink respectively. The aim of the work is to show the New Normal of human’s life in the future, and to warn people that we have to pay more attention to environmental issues.
