The new normal

I was inspired by the news released by the World Health Organization on August 2: COVID-19 will continue to affect the world for decades to come. Therefore, in this New Normal project, I shot a short film related to the epidemic. The title of the video is COLORFUL(斑斓). This is a black-and-white retro experimental short video on the "new normal" facing humanity -- Novel Coronavirus. My short film uses black and white elements to highlight the loneliness and confinement of human beings in the epidemic, and uses fixed shots to connect some fragmented scenes. I want this work to convey to mankind that even though the world is shrouded in black and white and fog, I hope our future will still shine brightly. I like to use color as an element to concentrate on the meaning the short film intends to convey. Moreover, the whole film has no dialogue, leaving the audience with the purest space for thinking.
