"Connection" is a new normal project that reflects the feelings of caring for and helping each other during the period of isolation. This project is focused on the behaviour of people during the quarantine. Then my teacher suggested that I could seek inspiration from different people. Subsequently, I found the answer I wanted in the connections and emotions between people. Through a lot of research and data collection, I made a lot of collages to find inspiration. Then I used lines to symbolize human connection. Finally, I've collected some items that people might use in their daily life, and sequences for pattern design. Because I want to express in the whole work the feeling of mutual encouragement and caring among people. Because even in these difficult times, there are so many people who remain optimistic and inspire others, which I think are two valuable qualities. Through my works, I hope that more people can feel this emotion and regain the happiness.
