The Black Book is a booklet that acts like an archive of the epidemic. This project has three primary objectives. The first is to record social environment, the second is to study collective behavior and the third is to explore the inner meanings of ordinary objects. In this case, I used AR technology to collect and record this uncertain time. It is inspired by the abnormal phenomena of Covid-19.
In my work, I mostly use 3D software. At the same time, I chose steel material to symbolize the sorrow the epidemic has brought to people, which is very painful. When the phone scans the English word, an object which is completely unrelated to the meaning of the word will appear with an explanation. I will use this booklet to reflect on the current society and people's behavior during the Coronavirus.
