What we talk about when we talk about working from home
The title of my project is ‘What we talk about when we talk about working from home’ : the core is what ‘working from home’ brings us. The bodies of the two characters are divided into two parts through the computer screen. In the Yellow part, they are wearing household clothes, playing with pet dog, cooking and taking care of the baby. In the blue part, they are wearing professional clothes and working hard. The meaning I want to express is that: during the period of isolation, telework disturbed everyone's pace of life, you may be feeding your baby when your boss calls you to have a meeting, which is a common dilemma makes all of us feel anxious. We have to deal with various matters from family life and work life at the same time, which brings us identity confusion. What should we do and who are we now? Moreover, how can we find work-life balance during isolation has became a huge problem for all of us. My purpose is to make people aware of the disruption in the pace of life caused by working from home, and to inspire people to think about how to overcome this negative situation.
