My new normal project is a short video called "Maverick". It is inspired by friends around me who are facing graduation, are young, confused, and don't like to follow the mainstream. One of them was a self-confident "maverick", but during this abnormal period, he suffered from depression due to a significant change in his mentality. With reflection and companionship, his situation has improved, and I had a new understanding of these confused young people. The purpose of this project is to reflect the changes in young mavericks, or the new normal in their mentality. Also, the world is getting better, and there will be more choices and opportunities, so young people should be brave.
