Extraordinary Experience

My work is called “ Extraordinary Experience” and the medium is oil painting. It was completed during the online course in August this year. In this work I try to step in to the real life, this is because the art must have in a strong attitude to step in to the other in the real world, only in this way we can get a steady stream of expression of material strength. In my New Normal project, I tried to explore two themes. One is the importance of reflecting the sense of distance from family conflicts, and the other is the dark side of Chinese society that I have seen. The first part comes from up today news during the epidemic. The first aspect that I want to discuss in this work is to think about the impact of the destruction of the sense of distance between people on interpersonal relationships after the destruction of the wife-killing news. During the period of home isolation, our social circle was suddenly reduced to the family unit, It is particularly important. at this time to maintain a certain sense of distance and draw a clear line will be In my opinion，the communication and understanding between people and the society are the exploration of in the external world. However, people are doomed to be lonely. The exploration of the inner world, the pursuit of the value of truth and the grasp of their own life require their own thinking, and loneliness is a state in the process of searching for value. The inspiration for the second part is something that recently happened to my sister. In July this year, when my sister was about to sign up for the college entrance examination, she found that her grades had been tampered with by the local admissions and examination center. It made me realize that this society is so dark. I think the personal experience clearly reflects the real dark side of Chinese society. Therefore, I want to expose this dark social phenomenon, this kind of government official to protect and play with the future of young people. I want to say something in the work to expose such social phenomenon, to cover up for each other among government officials and to treat the future of teenagers as a game. I want to use this painting to tell the real stories around me. As an art student, I can only express what I want to say by taking my paintbrush as a weapon to express my feelings and describe those social phenomena.
