'Candle in the wind' looks like every other photo framed or painting framed, but once the viewer looks closer they are engaged with a piece that attempts to ironically comment upon the traditions of art history and the traditions of an image. The image is one to be viewed and appreciated for its beauty as Plato suggested. The irony of this piece is in its reproduction and thus the reproduction of real life in the digital world. The piece is my own photograph which I have shared and copied many times, the pigmentation has glitched through the process, thus asking the question can technology keep up with the demands that we continually exploit of it?
