A suite of monotypes exploring interactions between women, united in a revelation of deception. This work is inspired by The Magician of Lublin, the 1960s novel by Issac Bashevis Singer. The male protagonist, Yasha Mazur, is subjected to a tumbling fall from grace, due to his womanising and lies. It is the women adjacent to him whose experiences I wish to explore. They function as the characters in this work. Shown in pairs and alone, they contemplate and comfort each other, awaiting the impending fall of their charlatan.
