Prior to lockdown I was planning to make a large piece of work ‘Mazurs Wreck’, which incorporated puppets, built theatrical elements and work on paper. However, due to the new restrictions I was forced to build a much smaller body of work. Much of this was using new materials, such as oil paint and charcoal drawing. I’m interested in how best these can be exhibited, hung in a way which references these traditional mediums.
