Anonymity

This project is from ordinary people’s memorial activities for what’s gone under Covid-19, It touched me with some helpless emotions. I notice that everyone wears a mask or kept distance during the tribute or even it’s an empty activity, these show the new normal of tribute under epidemic. I begin to think what people can get from it especially in these new normal forms, Then I think maybe it’s a personal buffer, can carry emotions, or an individual process that people can reconstruct their mind from things lost in the Covid-19. It led me to an extensive phase of secondary research which included the method of ancient paper-making and the mixture of lace fabric with it. It’s a method like put the break things together again, just like the tribute buffer wrap broken heart inside to make them have time to restore, shows a soft process of self-healing.
