I often find that unconsciously, people would characterize themselves on the basis of what society expects from each sex, but intentionally, distinguish themselves in a parody of the opposite sex, which in essence, is a paradox of non-binary gender expression. In this fashion design project, I explored the concept "androgyny" through the lens of gender, body, and identity. Going through design phases such as drape experiment, textile development, and themed accessory design, I finished five androgynous looks and a set of accessories, and did the shooting by myself.
