In 2008, my hometown experienced the biggest earthquake since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and I have not forgotten the pain. In the popular perception, there is no connection between human activities and earthquakes. However, in recent years, earthquakes caused by human activities have begun to come into my view. We have become part of the natural ecosystem, and human beings act as interveners to affect nature. The project is an interactive 3D game to explores what kind of feedback will the Earth give us after we do some unusual drilling? In this way, the audience can discover and think about the earthquake caused by human activity.
