Every chicken you have ever eaten
Through this project, we aim to engage and inform people about their consumption habits in a fun and interactive way. We want to avoid being didactic or critical towards people’s eating preferences, and we tailored our project to this purpose. The visuals have a symbolic character which at first glance might go unnoticed; The barren land is our planet, which has been destroyed significantly by humans’ reckless behaviour. The (dead) chicken falling from the sky have nowhere to graze, and as a result attack the responsible human standing in front of them. We chose to use the chicken because since the early times of our existence it is considered an animal rather stupid and slow; Besides, it is considered a bird, but it can’t even fly properly. Giving “voice” and power to such an underrated animal adds to the humorous character of our project, along with the chicken sounds, additional music, visual and sound effects.
