KAR’s debut collection and identity is based on a nostalgic location that provides a sense of tranquility, serenity and freedom. The space that is significant to this collection is a particular east coast line of Essex, England - beautiful stretch of golden sand, divided by timber groynes running through three small towns. The tailoring of KAR is inspired by relaxed silhouettes, simple, yet elegant styling, enhanced by carefully selected fabrics to create a cohesive family of looks that compliment one another. Neutral and muted hues are paired with varying constructed and weighted materials, that complement each other in reflection of it’s origin. KAR aims to relax the corporate and intimidating characteristics, usually associate with suits, by using bespoke tailoring as the foundation of the design and construction. KAR’s style has created soft looks for men and women who seek timeless pieces that encapsulates the luxury, charm and grace of the coast. This collection aspires to evoke a sentimental aura.
