The existing Korean traditional markets maintain its tradition, but the number of customers is decreasing due to the new market alternative systems. Facilities in current Korean traditional markets are outdated. This leaves customers with low accessibility to traditional markets. To define and solve these problems, this project proposes a service system with three items not only for the customers but also considering the market owners. Using this equipments, not only can the market owners sell goods in a more convenient and effective way but also keep original customers by renewing the market, eventually aiming to bring in new customers. Through analysis and interviews of Yongmun Market, both consumers and merchants have the problem of the overall system of Yongmun Market being underdeveloped. For the rebranding of the Yongmun market, a system element that merchants considered to be practically sustainable after the project, rather than a temporary design project.
