Using the Opera 'Orpheus in the Underworld' as a performance narrative, I collaborated with a hair and make-up technician to crate a character exploring links to elemental influences. Through this collaboration I explored different materials to create a sculptured costume. Focusing on the power of the character, I designed and created strong geometric shapes. Additionally I used embellishment skills to create intricate applique- reflecting my chosen character
