Luyao Lin's S/S 2022 knitwear collection ‘Times are Glorious’ is a memorandum to appreciate time and natural beauty. Through the lens of soft sensitivity, the designs are full of romantic atmosphere and femininity.
Through observing movement of light & shadow, a variation of reflections has been recorded and applied to the textile design process. Observing the decaying and blooming of natural elements around us became a reminder of life and death, good and bad, hope and hopelessness. It aims to give meaning during this period of time when the whole world is facing unprecedented challenges.
