The aim of this product is to manifest the connection we have with nature. We are living in symbiosis with nature and share information on a molecular level. This is a biophilic design for home that creates feelings and emotions of nature and connects to our consciousness.
Research has shown that taking care of plants is a very fulfilling experience and has a direct impact on our health and wellbeing. This light plant pot helps to connect us to nature and once it establishes a genuine connection, it turns into a precious item.
The sensors attached to the plant triggers the light and the pot acts a reminder of a world invisible to our eyes. The colours changes through impulses in the plants sensors and creates a sense of connection and awareness of nature. They are controlled using LEDs, connected to a microprocessor, that project through the glass and is reflected by the mirrored surfaces of the inner pot. The product is powered by batteries and recharged using a solar panel.
This project is inspired from studies of consciousness in these two books: The Secret Life of Plants by Peter Tompkins & Christopher Bird and The Order of Time by Carlo Rovelli.
