I want to create a feeling of regret -- the regret of witnessing the gradual extinction of a species due to human's destruction of the environment.I chose lemurs and snow leopards because they represent two extremes. Lemurs live in extreme heat and snow leopards live in extreme cold, and both of them are affected by global warming. This suggests that the damage caused by global warming is widespread. The PVC films were painted with human's environmentally unfriendly behavior, such as felled trees, private cars and smoky factories, and then these covered the animals. Through this work, I remind myself to do something environmentally friendly in my life, such as saving paper, riding a bike or taking public transportation.
