So what do we think of when it comes to fire? Megafires damage biodiversity, but nobody attention that it generate large, long-lasting, and toxic smoke that reaches across oceans and continents. I use roses as the theme. The first reason is in memory of one of my favourite books called The Little Prince. Like the little prince who always protects his rose, it is a symbol of biodiversity, beautiful and fragile, people are used to protected it. There are some cards made of roses with data from research about the area of forest lost in each country since 2001 due to the Megafires. Only one of the cards in the set is coloured, which is actually a symbol of a sense of approaching disaster. My spirit is here too,According to the statistics 85% wildfires are human-caused, such as debris left in camps, discarded cigarettes, and man-made arson, and the toxic smoke from the megafires that lasts all day, endangers the ecosystem. If we do not want to lose even the roses, then let’s protect them.
