We live on "sick" earth. Human behaviours lead to harmful changes in the climate. Climate problems have caused a large number of unnatural deaths of many species. Therefore, I made this installation "A portrait of the dead earth". I chose the items that are everywhere around us as its raw materials. I divided the earth's interior into three parts, representing different periods—past, present and future. I used the simplest and most direct way to show how the world is changing. The shape of the installation is inspired by traditional Chinese memorial ceremonies. Some people's behaviours are like chronic suicide. So I hope this project can bring people thinking about climate issues.
