The Scream from a Polar Bear

The name of this artwork is called The Scream from a Polar Bear. It is a punch needle embroidery work made of woollen thread. This work hopes to make people pay attention to the damage caused by global warming to the Arctic. Glaciers and permafrost in the Arctic are gradually melting because of global warming. On the one hand, the melting of glaciers caused polar bears to lose their habitat. If it gets worse, polar bears may go extinct. On the other hand, the remains of ancient animals under the permafrost, such as mammoths, may harbour many viruses that are still alive. These ancient viruses may also endanger the lives of Arctic animals. These are the warnings that this artwork wants to express. Protect the environment and keep polar bears away from the harm caused by global warming.
