Global warming is a growing problem and research has revealed that human behaviour is largely responsible for the climate crisis. So with 'The Destroying Earth', I have shown that we can change the rate of global warming ourselves. Both posters feature the Earth, one melting and the other burning, and are all in black and white to show a sense of destruction and depression. The empty dropped remote control and lighter in the hands of the image symbolise human behaviour and the fact that people can control it if they wish. The second element is the red element in the picture, the heat warning sign is a warning and the words 'Climate Crisis' around the earth are firstly to show the warning and secondly to show that the climate crisis is around us all the time. The main purpose of my poster is to warn people to start taking action now to change global warming.
