The aesthetic of this design was developed from studies of the texture and organic patterning of conch shells.

Abstract Character Design 2:

The aesthetic of this design was developed from capturing the composition of shells through a view finder, and recreating this with layers of torn cardboard to describe what was seen through the viewfinder. The overall outcome paralleled with topographical pieces and resonated with Yves Klein's White Planetary Reliefs.
