The Other Side

My work called "The Other Side" is a ceramic work, the external structure and the internal micro world together constitute the content I want to convey. From one side of the work, the whole scene seems to be normal. The farmer is working hard and the fields are growing well. But when you look at it from the other side, it's a very different story. There are holes and pests which means crises behind the farmer, and agriculture is facing the negative effects of the climate crisis. The concept I hope to express through my work is that the climate crisis is not as simple as we thought. Although the impact of the climate crisis on agriculture may seem less dire, things are getting worse. I hope my work can express the challenges faced by agriculture in the current weather crisis, thus arousing the audience's attention to protecting the environment and reducing food waste.
