an environmental protection campaign poster (2021)

My artwork is an ‘environmental protection campaign’ poster. This artwork’s purpose is to alter the public’s attention. The slogan to this piece is ‘Think Twice’ - This campaign poster means our normal life is collapsing and disappearing due to climate change, which is caused by human indifference and selfish minds. Our life is collapsing because we haven’t taken responsibility for environmental issues. In the image, the teacup is barely staying on the blanket to convey instability. In shooting the image, I slowly fall sideways to create a shaking scene. The use of instant camera and mono film in black and white was chosen to express fear and realism, and to give a blurry effect, rather than using a modern-day smartphone. The overall atmosphere and elements in the photos stimulate a sense of crisis among even people who are indifferent to environmental issues.
