I was exploring the haunting world of sleep paralysis, aiming to reproduce the feelings of vulnerability one experiences from the nightmarish sleep state- often involving the assumed presence of an unknown being. It is inspired by Henry Fuselis 'The Nightmare' (1817) and my own experiences with sleep paralysis and insomnia.
