In this installment piece, the t-shirt is called 'YOUR PRECIOUS THINGS' is made of artificial protein that can reduce the cultivation of cotton, which leads to desertification. The visuals in the piece are set in 1970's Japan. It was a time when environmental issues were being discussed. To show contrast, in the top image features Mt. Fuji, which is the highest mountain in Japan. Mt. Fuji is an important part of the natural landscape for Japanese people. The image below it is inside a hotel in Shinjuku, a bustling city of young people's dreams. This hotel is a symbol of the development of the city of Tokyo. It is linked to the message on the t-shirt, "What's important to you, what's important to your friends?" YOUR PRECIOUS THINGS means dreams and aspirations for us. THE PRECIOUS THINGS OF YOUR FRIENDS means the nature and culture of our friends' birthplace. When you admire fashion and achieve your dreams in the fashion industry, are you not destroying someone's precious nature and culture of birthplace because of climate crisis? That's the message I wanted to bring to the attention of everyone who loves fashion.
